It's the A3 Tactical VFG with grenade grip. It's made in mlok, keymod, and picatinny; in my case I'm using the Kinect mlok->picatinny rail mount to turn the picatinny version QD. That way when I drop the thing on a pistol lower I can remove the VFG and drop an AFG in there quickly without tools.
They're #10 machine screws with a threaded coupler to screw up to the "outer" buttpad and provide support so the buttpad pushes into my shoulder rather than the screw heads. The lower pieces towards the "inner" buttpad are spacers so that between those and the couplers most if the recoil is...
Here's the absurdity it takes to get a CMMG 8" Guard barrel (with 9mm Endomag) to a > 29" SBR. OAL is 29.25 to the ends of the muzzle threads (and not the 3 lug).
I had a spare UBR laying around and can swap them as need be. Have an approved Form 20 to shoot this in PA and FL, but sometimes...
Apparently it was part of a previous reading of the bill, but not the one that was passed. I got battered for that misread here, but I used that misread back in May to convince the SO that I needed to accelerate my timeline to buy a M11/9 (was going to buy one in a couple of years). The real...
Apologies, I was going off one of the first drafts that defined what's now identified as a "rapid fire trigger activator" as a machine gun. Looks like that was changed with the version of HB888 that passed and was signed.
Hooray for MSI filing suit: https://www.marylandshallissue.org/jmain/counselor-s-corner/156-bump-stock-lawsuit-filed
Can't wait to see where this goes.
Edit: apparently there's a new thread, I only had this one subscribed. https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=224713
Lotsa work there to defend the store who shall not be named there. I suppose I'd then argue that while influenced somewhat due to domination, I'd consider the culture in-line with other southeast-asian areas such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and some of the pacific islands further east. If we're...
Ruben was pushing them for 7k then, he's at ~8k now. Let's assume I could have saved a thousand if I bought then, but honestly I would have over extended myself buying both. Now I get to have my A-Team fantasies as well as have a re-configurable bullet hose, so I'd say that thousand was spent...
Yes, holy crap, yes. Until this weekend I've never seen a Russian periscope in person before, and I feel like not a lot of people can say that. Standing in the vault was also awe inspiring. Bob and Merle are some of the nicest people I've met in my life and, even if I hadn't bought that M11...
You gave me this advice a couple of years ago when I was looking at a Ruger AC556 (which I did buy and love). Been looking for one for a good price since then and finally picked one up this weekend in VA at Historic Arms (which was probably the most amazing trip I've ever taken in my life).
I...
Sorry for leaving everyone hanging, went to VA this weekend to buy a new NFA toy (picture to be posted in the picture thread soon).
I accidentally went into this store before ever reading about it (along with Fox Firearms, sorry guys) because a girl I was seeing was working in Hellas down the...
I've never seen that thread before (probably because of the name and my brain never made the leap to the actual name). I need to drop my story of how they accused me of lying on the 4473 and told me they were reporting me to the ATF.
