Montgomery Kounty is at it again with their rampant lawlessness. Using drones now, but 'don't be concerned', we're just trying to see how far we can push it before we violate your 4th Amendment Rights. But then, if you're caught in their illegal web of deceit, you go broke fighting the system...
When you make your purchase, your 77R will ask if you're a designated collector. When you check the box, the other boxes blank out for you to be able to check. Also, if you want, you can even attach your designated collector paperwork to your 77R online.
That's what I thought too...but I'm not the expert when it comes to filling out the dealer forms. Left it to them. I'll update when I hear from my dealer if that indeed was the problem. I suspect it is.
You are correct. I pulled it up to see what was done. This was for a TAC-14 Remington Shotgun and "other" was selected. I'll let my dealer and MSP work out what type it is classified as.
This was a new one for me, and I'm hoping it's happened to others as well. I'm looking for 'what to expect' after this. This morning I checked for my 77R "Not Disapproved" email and nothing. So I went online to the MSP portal and saw a message. The message, "THIS APPLICATION HAS BEEN SENT BACK...
Yep. Just waiting for some MD Federal Court to come to their senses and knock the block off all of MoKo's douchbaggery. I have a feeling my great grandkids will come and go before that happens though.
First time I got the 'Not Disapproved' letter I laughed my butt off. Another way for idiocracy to deny responsibility. "Oh, he went crazy with his guns, but we never 'approved' him to have one in the first place". But I loved that phrase so much, I started using it at work for things I needed...
Wasn't there something about carrying in vehicles with a permit? Having to keep them locked up during transport? Is that still on the table?

I've scoured around the net and couldn't find an answer and hope maybe someone else has an answer for me here.
Has anyone carried concealed at Rapids Water Park, Palm Beach, Florida?
I have a Florida CCW and am planning vacations this summer and trying to prep ahead. Thanks.

I wrote to one of my legislators and they not only told me to pound sand, but that I was wrong in my thinking. "But thank you for writing anyway". Foxtrot Umbrella
I think it's best to have something with you that you 'encased' the firearm in, 'unloaded', so if you ever have to use anything, you have evidence of 'complying'.
I'm sure this was a 'gun free' incident as it no doubtedly was in a new 21-22 'gun free zone'. Still, for the owners (if they were CCW) who must have been terrified, they couldn't do anything to react in time to uncase their unloaded firearm and load it to defend themselves. I'm preaching to the...
My new MoKo (sic) carry starter kit. Had to charge from my revolver due to increased time to load over the semi. (Am I doing this right, or does the magazine have to be in my pocket, separated further, or up some councilperson's arse?) Can find this on Amazon. Merry Christmas everyone.
