      The bayo in the last picture was made by National Denkic(National Electric).The Rifle was either Koishikawa Arsenal(Tokyo)or Kokura.I think the first one most likely.

      Russian capture's have a neat bit of history behind them.The one I have has a good bore and it's evil markings are intact.M48's are pretty good shooters also.

      If cheap Surplus hits market I stockpile.Learn my lesson by not stockpiling when .308 and Danish 30.06 was cheap.Bought a case of 5.45 before I purchased a AK 74.

      Was bad as York shows go.Did get 4 VZ mags and an Arisaka bayonet.

      AK 47 or AK 74

      I have both calibers,the 5.45 is a real soft shooter.I shoot surplus,but new commercial rounds are available.If you get a Century go over it very carefully before buying it.Canted sights and poorly cut magwells are common.Whichever one you get,you'll most likely get the other in the future.

      Good stuff! It seems softer in the recoil department then other stuff I've fed my Mausers.Had some Greek commercial that really kicked hard.

      Don't know the address.But like I said head into town pick up Route 15 buisness in town head south 2 miles south of town and it's on the right side of the road.Can't get there from south of town heading north due to constuction of new bridge.Not to hard to fine.It sits by the road by itself.

      Route 15 just south of Gettysburg is a great surplus store.The bridge is out so you have to go through town and head south about two miles.WW1,WW2,Korea and Vietnam stuff and lots of commie surplus.Good prices for a shop near a tourist attraction.Look for the Jeep and big bomb out front.Store...

      Homemade Corrosive Cleaner?

      The ww2 stuff is great.It will stain clothing,floors,table etc.Use gloves when using though.The stuff contains Benzine and creosote.Also smells somewhat medicinal.I think that's because it contains wintergreen.

      Love the Grip Pod.Bought the miitary model from PK Firearms about a year ago.I think that I've never seen the real thing at any gunshows,always Chinese rip-offs being sold as the real thing.

      Did the reviews mention it being corrosive or not.Don't mind running corrosive stuff in my 03'.Garands I rather not as long as I still have a choice.If I see some for good price at a funshow will most likely pick some up.

      Anyone Rocking a Khar Tompson?

      I was at the range and a guy was having all kinds of feeding problems with his.Might have been a mag issue or maybe ammo sensitive.Wanted one up till the time I witnesed that.Of course all manufacturers produce lemons now and then.

      Been wondering about that stuff myself.Would love to hear some feedback on it.I'm guessing that the ammo is coming from a 2nd party.Pretty sure Iran doesn't have favoured nation status.
