So. . . dumb question. I haven't bought or sold in several years - so I never did get a HQL. Would I have to have it to re-acquire the handguns from a shop??
Yeah I'm sort of looking for the easiest way to sell - with 4 guns it would definitely be easiest to make one trip to drop them off at a shop, although I do realize I'll get less back for them that way.
Maybe I will post them here just to see what comes of it.
Thanks for the responses!
Hello,
Anyone have opinions on the best place around to put some extras on consignment? Or any pros/cons?
I'm in Baltimore City, and considering Continental but have heard very mixed reviews.
I bought a 22 rifle a few years ago at a Cabela's in WV, my understanding was that long guns could be purchased from/at FFL's in neighboring states only?
Yikes! I seem to be getting luckier than that. I found a Saturday pumper that will come in from Jessup (for a price). I'll need 10 cubic yards, will also be pricy! It's coming together, though, thanks for all the input.
Wondering if anyone knows a reliable concrete supplier in or close to Baltimore City. I need a residential delivery Saturday, and will need a pumper as well.
Any tips appreciated!
Tape may be great, but there is always the risk of it coming loose at a bad time. I generally prefer a more failsafe solution. IMO, stippling often looks terrible, but can be done well; the grip effect is impressive in either case, which is what matters for a working gun.
Definitely a good...
I know rails on revolvers look very odd, but as I'm heading toward a wheelgun-only handgun lifestyle, I'm becoming intrigued. . .
Anyone have any experience with 'em? With a light, specifically. Just wondering if they work well - or don't - with revolvers - aesthetic considerations aside!
Agreed, that is a really sharp-looking grip!
The wood does allow much smoother adjustment of hand position, but then as sweat builds up I start to feel less control than with the rubber grip - so I start squeezing the wood grip harder, and hand fatigue accelerates.
So for me, it's rubber...
