      I know I cannot buy the magazine after Oct 1. That is very clear. The question was, would I be able to buy just the gun without ANY magazine in MD?

      How would I go about buying hand guns post 1 Oct? for example i want to buy a Springfiled XD-40 which normally has 12+1 magazine? Would I be able to buy it without any Magazine in MD from FFL. Then go down to VA and buy the magazine separately? I am confused.

      I was wondering the same thing. The way I am reading is I get to keep the "assault weapon" and that's it. I can't even take it to a range to shoot. that is pretty messed up.

      I went there on saturday morning aroung 11pm. I could barely move from table to table. I picked up 2 lb of HS6 and 1000 180 gr bullets. got 1000 small pistol primers too. the price went up by a couple of dollars. worth the trip since I couldn't get HS6 at VA show.

      your vehicle registration would work. the first time I went to that show I didnt know about the 2 ID rule. the table that I was buying a shot gun from told me that if my car registration card has the same address as the license it is good to go
