      Picked up my third Saturday morning. Got nicer ones at Harrisburg and York. The one I got Saturday was definitely rough, but mostly gunked up from sitting on an open pallet in a Miami warehouse. Yes, they were from Samco. I remember the auction pics. One of mine even has the crest intact...

      Crime in Frederick County

      That's what I did. Paying more taxes than down here, but you can get WAY more house for the money. same commute time. My neighbor has roosters and chickens and I much rather have that than what I had to deal with down here. :)

      My buddy was checking a rifle he had just been lent and it went off a foot from my head. Round hit the ceiling and just missed a gas line. Also was test firing a pistol I had just done some work on and test fired a mag on a large farm. Took off my hearing protection only to hear a round...

      Gettysburg Gun Show Jan 28-29, 2017

      There's a surplus store about 100 yards past the show venue on the left, usually only open on weekends when something is going on. They also have a small store in town. Any store with military vehicles in the parking lot is good with me! :patriot:

      Call up Katrina at South Mountain Arms. They're only open Wed through Sat I believe, but they usually have a pretty good inventory and have no problem hopping on the computer to see what they can find. It's a nice scenic drive from Frederick also. I take the Myersville exit then back roads...

      My 1911 frequently jams

      I have a few "low end" 1911's, a Spanish Firestorm and a Filipino Rock Island Armory, and have only had issues with the G.I. brown wrapper contract mags. If you're shooting a 1911 that cost 3-4 times as much I would think something is seriously wrong if you're using a quality mag like a Wilson...
