Picked up my third Saturday morning. Got nicer ones at Harrisburg and York. The one I got Saturday was definitely rough, but mostly gunked up from sitting on an open pallet in a Miami warehouse. Yes, they were from Samco. I remember the auction pics. One of mine even has the crest intact...
That's what I did. Paying more taxes than down here, but you can get WAY more house for the money. same commute time. My neighbor has roosters and chickens and I much rather have that than what I had to deal with down here. :)
I see what I think is an Enfield safety selector, maybe a Mosin bold handle, a Bren mag and.......no rear site!?!? Not to mention the rock solid underfolder stock! Might be wrong about the bold handle.

This! I think it's probably the only thing the Bulgarians can manufacture better than the Russians. My first choice. :party29: As others have said the WASR 10 is hit or miss.
I've had one since I was a teenager. They are very "handy" in size. The only problems I've ever had was with crap aftermarket mags.
Also, many years ago I bought reloaded ammo at a very good price that turned out to have 1,100 rounds, not the 1,000 I paid for. After jamming a loaded round...
My buddy was checking a rifle he had just been lent and it went off a foot from my head. Round hit the ceiling and just missed a gas line.
Also was test firing a pistol I had just done some work on and test fired a mag on a large farm. Took off my hearing protection only to hear a round...
This thread made me pull part of my SMLE collection out of hibernation. Now my cats are pissed cuz the rifles are all leaning on their favorite afternoon sleeping spot.
There's a surplus store about 100 yards past the show venue on the left, usually only open on weekends when something is going on. They also have a small store in town. Any store with military vehicles in the parking lot is good with me! :patriot:
Call up Katrina at South Mountain Arms. They're only open Wed through Sat I believe, but they usually have a pretty good inventory and have no problem hopping on the computer to see what they can find. It's a nice scenic drive from Frederick also. I take the Myersville exit then back roads...
 Got mine from Lou, and it's currently sitting right next to me. Excellent + condition with all the accessories in the original box. It was maybe $400 or a little less. RIP
I hadn't been on the CMP site in a while and just realized my C&R is an exemption to the marksmanship related activity! Now if I wasn't broke at the moment...:banghead:
I have a few "low end" 1911's, a Spanish Firestorm and a Filipino Rock Island Armory, and have only had issues with the G.I. brown wrapper contract mags. If you're shooting a 1911 that cost 3-4 times as much I would think something is seriously wrong if you're using a quality mag like a Wilson...
Got there at 10:00 with minor sleet on the way. At first I didn't find anything I fell in love with and ended up chatting with Lee2 at Blue Fins and Brian at South Carroll Sporting Goods for a good spell. Then I did one last lap and scored a beautiful Swedish M96 that turned out to be a pretty...
Oh F! Last year I decided to work overtime in the morning and showed up and parking was so bad with my new car that I just left and went to
Duffy's.
