      I hope the homeowner is exonerated. This individual must be a powerful person in the DC government otherwise the administration would have sacrificed him by now. Time will tell. People are sick and tired of the crime. The so called revised criminal code is a joke.

      Hmmm.. You make a good argument. I admit , I never handled one. I've seen only one in person at MSAR . I don't have a hangup on the looks, I just really wanted a Ruger Ar-556 .. Maybe I will look closer into the Ares .. The accuracy is a good selling point thanks for commenting .

      Kind of far for you but my favorite outdoor spot is Delmarva Sporting Clays. You can shoot anything you want basically [with permission] as long as you clean up. They also have steel pistol setup but I like to put walking targets out on the 200yard berm and shoot at it.

      another attention whore.. I mean what purpose did that serve? FWIW an AR is a great battle rifle, but for personal self defense I [personally] would rather have surprise on my side, since I don't walk around on a battlefield. A concealed pistol [IMHO] is much better from a defensive perspective.
