SC on the verge of Constitutional Carry

I’ve seen news reports saying open carry. Is it also concealed permitless carry?

It cost my Wife and I $7626.00 to legally Carry a Handgun in 44 States!

When I did my re-qual we were out of there in 2 hours. The holster and reholster wasn’t what took time. Those were easy. It was the use of force class that they require which is about an hour long. They don’t even drill any fast holster draw. You take your time and you do it slowly. Nobody...

NJ Non Resident - Permit to Carry a Handgun Process

I’ve seen some getting it without proof of ownership. You can bring it just in case but likely won’t need it.

NJ Non Resident - Permit to Carry a Handgun Process

Under the new law that is no longer necessary. The permits will also now be issued by the chief of police (Superintendent of state of police for you nonresidents) and will be via a web portal. I am assuming it will be a PDF sent by email just like the FID.

SAF sues NJ over new permit law

The Koons case deals with sensitive places only. That is filed by FPC, SAF, NJ2AS and CNJFO. These groups combined together to file this lawsuit. The Siegel case is filed by ANJRPC, which is the state NRA association. This is why "the NRA" said that they filed the case. This one is more...

SAF sues NJ over new permit law

The “NRA” case is actually from the state NRA association, ANJRPC. For the TRO they’ve already been assigned different judges. Based on the judges assigned the FPC/SAF case has a better chance of a TRO. Jeff Muller, one of the plaintiffs in the SAF/FPC suit, is no stranger to this. He’s the...

New Jersey’s Democrat lawmakers introduced legislation Thursday to require concealed carry permit holders to get liability insurance

They know court challenges take time plus it looks good in the eyes of their master (Bloomberg) and he will make sure and funnel campaign cash their way.

New Jersey’s Democrat lawmakers introduced legislation Thursday to require concealed carry permit holders to get liability insurance

USCCA doesn't operate in NJ anymore. The commissioner of insurance doesn't even know. I'm sure that's a huge part of it - make an impossible requirement.

Bill passed 21-16. Murphy expected to sign it into law soon. Lawsuits expected soon thereafter.

Why doesn't the ACLU support gun rights?

This surprised me. https://legalaidnyc.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/06-23-22-LAS-Statement-on-U.S.-Supreme-Court-Ruling-in-NYS-Rifle-Pistol-Association-et.-al.-v.-Kevin-P.-Bruen-FINAL.pdf They talk about “gun violence” disproportionately affecting black and colored communities - which is...

New Jersey’s Democrat lawmakers introduced legislation Thursday to require concealed carry permit holders to get liability insurance

That’s false equivalence. The state can’t require you to pay money to vote.

Except that it’s a right. You can’t put roadblocks in front of a right.
