      Bumble Bees and the AGC

Destructive MF'ers. I have killed 26 of them this year with a tennis racket. They are tough too. I hung 4 traps on my house and probably have another 20 in them. Just about 100 more to go and I will be free until they return next spring.

      Firearm insurance?

I have my guns and jewelry (wife's wedding ring) under my homeowners. It is cheap IMO. Covers fire, theft, etc. I am meeting with my agent next week in order to review my coverage so I will check it then to be sure what else may be covered.

Favorite braided line for spinning reels

I use Kast King super braid. Never let me down with 30# in the surf and 20-30 in the bay for stripers and the unfortunately small blues we have. I will sometimes top it with fluoro leader when the fish are picky. ETA: good test on the fluoro vs mono in the post above. I choose it certain...

Live in Md and looking for good places to buy used OU 12 shotgun for Clay Sports

Check Angler's in Annapolis/Cape St. Claire. They have a selection of consignment guns. No telling if they have any O/U's at the moment. You can sometimes negotiate those prices depending if the consignee left any room to play.

Tree Service near Crofton for tree removal and advice

I just had Tall Tree Service out of Severna Park come out and take down 3 trees, grind two stumps and trim/shape two others. They had 8 guys out here. about 3 hours later everything was done, blowers and raking was done and other than some sawdust, you would never even know they were here. Price...

Do-It Brand Cannon Ball Sinker Molds.....Anyone Tried Them?.....Quality?

To tag onto this. Any source for reasonably priced molds? I have been looking for a while as I would like to make some pyramid sinkers and some slide sinkers. I do keep my eye on eBay and FB for them.

Is this one 4WD? I guess you would have mentioned that if it was.

      Who's getting in some fishing?

Yea, it really wan't a fight so much as me letting him do whatever he wanted to (as if I had a choice) until he got tired.

      Who's getting in some fishing?

It did. I called it quits after that but mostly because the tide was almost dead low and I had been out there for 6 hours with just 3 other fish in the cooler.

      Who's getting in some fishing?

Surf fishing this past week in DE. I had 4 kingfish and a spot and then there was this Cownose Ray. Took me an hour to land him. He nearly spooled me twice. It was on my lighter 9' rod of course. He had a wingspan of about 4' and I got him on a kingfish rig with a #6 hook. Probably 50-60 lbs.

Well, that is fantastic! I would have loved to have witnessed that interaction. Happy to see it on video, too. Play stupid games...

Looking for a lead melting pot

I like that, but then what is the best way to get it from the Dutch oven to pour into the sinker mold? Cast iron ladle?

Looking for a lead melting pot

Thanks R. A few people recommend this pot or the 10lb. I think that will be key...the ease of pouring. Appreciate that. I guess it is hard to justify the 10lb when the 20lb is $10 more. Is there any reason at all to get a 10lb other than $10? True. They don't have to be beautiful. Someday, I...

Looking for a lead melting pot

That is a good idea. You just reminded me that my Dad used to just use an iron ladle and melt it with propane. I will try that out unless someone comes up with a better idea or a deal too good to pass up.

So is that a good one, or did you just go on Amazon and post one?

Looking for a lead melting pot

Figured I would check in before buying something. If anyone has a melting pot that they would be willing to lend out, I would be happy to meet you to pick it up. I have access to plenty of lead and would be happy to give some in exchange. Short of that, if I buy one, what do I want? I don't...
