Has anybody seen this before?
I THINK that the case was too long before Lee Factory Crimp Die got it.
I use a (Worlds Finest Trimmer ?) which mounts in a drill press and uses the shoulder to reference from to get trim length. It appears to me my size die is the issue? I do not gage sized...
Has anyone seen this brass?
I have not measured, but there is a SHELF inside the case that appears to be there to stop the bullet from seating any deeper. This shelf restricts the case volume all the way down to the Primer pocket web.

I shot a match today and my AR would not eject about 30% of the time.
The only thing I changed on the rifle prior to the match was the spacer on the buffer tube. I installed one that would let me use a single point sling.
I tried different Magazines, Different Bolt Carrier group and...
While shooting a match Sunday, I let the gun run dry, (SA1911) so it went to slide lock. I was using Chip McCormack 10 round Magazines. When I SHOVED a new mag in (Just really too hard) it got stuck. It was too far up into the gun and the slide would NOT move forward into battery. I could pull...
I found out about Storm Lake Barrels ,
http://www.storm-lake.com/products/barrel#top
It seems you can convert your 40 into a 9.
Will my XD 40 accept 9mm magazines? Has anyone done this, bought, the conversion barrel?

Dear Friend,
I wanted to make sure you are aware of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources' latest Junior Waterfowl Hunting Day, which takes place this Saturday, February 9. Junior Hunting Days provide wonderful opportunities for young hunters and their adult mentors to get outside and...
The ATF just sent a Letter to all FFL's
Per Obama's speech, they are encouraging FFL's to facilitate Personal Firearm transfers.
The Gist of the Letter, an FFL can receive a firearm from ANYBODY. No need to have an FFL ship to an other FFL for you.
I have an AR barrel, 223/556 with no visible markings on it without removing it from the upper. What gage should I buy to determine which it is chambered for?
I am thinking that a 5.56 gage would be best? Do I need to get Go, No-Go, Field? Or do I need to cast the chamber and measure?
I just bought all new wood/with metal from the CMP. Should this be ready to go on the rifle, or will some fitting be required?
What finish is on these stocks, and does it need attention or just slap it on there? (That is if it is ready to slap on there?)
I just got home from my Engage Pistol Class.
It was a beginners class that I did not expect much from. It was more than I expected.
The instruction team was professional, without being dry and boring.
We covered the basics, from the diagram of a pistol to proper handling, storage and...
A Co-Worker found this in the Ocean near Hatteras.
It measures .5" and has rifling marks on the outside. It appears to me that there is a bullet inside a bullet?
My 1911 was shooting low with the factory fixed sights. I installed an adjustable rear sight and with it set as low as it goes, I shoot high now. So now I need to replace the front sight with a higher one. I have the old sight out. The Midway and Brownell's websites show Narrow and Wide tenon...
I bought new sights for my 1911. The screw that adjusts the sights up and down needs to have a hole drilled and tapped into the slide.
My thread gages only go to 32 TPI and the screw is finer pitch than that.
It is either 6 - 48 or metric 3.5 - .6, I can't tell for sure. I just ordered a 6 -...
I use range brass for my reloads. Some of it has what i have heard called the Glock Bulge.
I have had many failure to fire jams. The pistol almost goes into battery, the firing pin will drop and sometimes leave a mark. I started measuring my brass after sizing and it goes from .426" to .428"...
