I can't stop thinking about buying one of these so I think I'll just go for it. I'm seriously stuck between the pistol and carbine though. Now that ATF states that shouldering it isn't creating an SBR (yeah no kidding atf) I think the pistol probably makes more sense. Anyone own on or the other...
Hello folks,
I'm looking for someone to refinish my kitchen. It's a small baltimore row home kitchen. I'm a young guy with a limited budget so I'm looking to do basic materials such as builder grade cabinets and basic tile flooring. I don't need it 100% finished, as in I will put up the...
I was thinking about this recently and looking at my own ammo buying behavior it's easy to see where all the ammo has gone. I used to swing by Wally World and grab a brick of .22 if I was going out to shoot rim fire and when the ammo 'crisis' hit I would often buy all I could afford so that when...
Just an update I haven't had a chance to mess with this. Any gunsmiths in the Baltimore area available to help me out? I wanna get this fixed properly because I want to offer the gun for sale soon.
I love the idea of colt keeping their heritage firearms alive but I really wish we could see something totally new from them to bring them into the modern era and give young shooters a reason to be interested in colt. I just don't see rereleases of these older guns as a sustainable plan to keep...
That thing sure is purdy. I don't know much about hi-powers I mean I know it's an iconic design with many modern firearms taking cues from its design/action but I've never shot the real deal.
GBs are the only round I've had occasional issues with. Removing the loaded chamber indicator will help with that. Also make sure the feed ramp is clean and not gunked up.
Just for fun, post up past projects or projects you're working on now. This could be a built rifle or a handgun or even just some mods to your favorite weapons. I'm about to do a CGW pro package on my new P-01 and a volquartsen accurizing kit on my 22/45.
here's one I found with a quick search -

Just good LCI removal ruger or something like that. I'm sure midwayusa stocks them too.
You wont be disappointed. The only mod you need to do in regards to reliability is the loaded chamber indicator removal. It takes about ten mins and the blank part that goes in it's place cost around $15. This is not really part of the gun but more of a legality measure so they can be sold in...
They're a pleasure to shoot right out of the box. Very accurate and reliable. They really shine with some of the readily available after market stuff. The volquartsen kit runs about $80 and turns the trigger into something special.
Look into an "app" called raise. It's a market place where people sell cheap gift cards. I've used it several times and its GTG. The company backs up any transaction incase the number was bad or something.
22/45 all day! After getting it apart and back together once or twice its second nature. The difficulty of disassembly and reassembly are way over stated and with a little practice it becomes simple. IMO, other than the buckmark there isn't another .22 semi auto in this price range that comes...
Interesting, I recently bought another handgun from 2A sales and found the price to be only $20 above the online price which comes in cheaper then transferring one. Try different shops.
It really is the year of the 9mm carbine...

That 9mm AK is pretty drool worthy and under $1k? Sign me up please... I've been fairly obsessed with the new CZ carbine but the AK could be a...
Back on topic boys. I put 200 rounds down range out of the P-01 today on it's first range trip. Gun is just amazing. I don't love the sights though, and the sight picture makes accuracy somewhat difficult for me as the front site doesn't 'fill' the sight picture of the rear site.
Should I be avoiding this place? I've been to freestate a few times but it seemed like it was more expensive than continental. I usually do my shooting outdoors when its not freezing.
