Federal Match small Pistol primers vs standard Federal small pistol primers

Had to go for the more expensive version due to availability.. Even then, on back order. Ay difference in loading these vs the standard primers? Performance improvement? Thanks.

      Federal brass

No problems at all with Federal primers in Federal cases. Reloaded over 1000 9mm bullets with no issues that weren't of my own making... Eased up on pressing them in for maximum results.

fired my first batch of 9mm reloads today

Loaded another 100 rounds, reduced crimp and made sure I was more careful seating the primers (closer to flush with the casing) worked great in the xdm except for a couple stove pipes. Will add another tenth of a grain of powder next time. Thanks for the tip!

      TulAmmo primers

Seated the primers more carefully (had set them too deep) and reduced the crimp. Problem solved except for a couple stove pipes in 100 rounds. Looking to bump the powder up a tenth of a grain and will try it again. Thanks for the tip.

      TulAmmo primers

I loaded 200 rounds of 115g 9mm with federal primers. My Sig liked them fine, but my son using his XDM had several primer strikes without percussion in the first couple rounds and decided to use his factory stuff. Any thoughts? Are the XDMs finicky? Thanks

fired my first batch of 9mm reloads today

Fired our first 200 rounds of 115g 9mm reloads with Bullseye powder. MySig P226 ate it up, but son's XDM had several primer strikes but no percussion, he stopped using them. Know that the XDM manual warns against reloads, but have seen many posters who use them. Finished bullets were to spec re...

      9mm price watch

Just tried 200 rounds of American Eagle 9mm Luger 115 FMJ. Had a couple jams with the XMD (first) and casings are pretty dirty... So also looking for some good economical bulk ammo ideas.
