Sorry for the delay. Been away for a few days. Just now saw this post. So EricOak is correct. I found 99.44% of my info on the net. The Saiga forum is full of info and how-to's for doing conversions. A 308 is not much different from a 12 gauge from a x39. Real difference is the front hand... -

Look at the ATA site. ( I think it is atashooting.com) That will give you the Maryland Trapshooting folks home page. There is always something going on from March to November with the ATA folks. Looking for some help here. I cannot get the lock to engage on gas tube latch on my Saiga 308. I have made sure that the tube is as far forward as possible and still cannot get the latch to engage. I am doing my best to not force it. I am also afraid if I continue to force it I'll gall the end... -
