Great shop, stopped in there for the first time last month, ended up with a glock 35 out of the used case, was there today to check out the sig optics. Good people
Now I just need to stop looking at the STI 2011s before I start thinking I "need" one =D
Accuracy, My buckmark isnt bad, when I use to shoot bullseye with it I would drop 2-3 points on the slow fire. But I'm pretty sure both my buckmark and mk ii shoot better then I can...
One trick for the buckmark field strip is to leave the sight rail attached to the barrel, that way you will...
+1 to what he said, Fit is everything on the shotguns. I have a weatherby athena o/u 12ga that I hate to shoot because it doesn't fit me at all (I'm 5'6") and I'm pretty sure the lop was for someone 6'5". But, if you do find a shotgun you like but doesn't fit right, you can always have the stock...
:lol2:
Might be hard to find, and its not light...
Specs on the Buckmark are
Buckmark 7.25" Bullseye edition, manf date '96
Burris Fastfire 2 (pic base machined to clear the rear sight)
Weigand weaver rail (custom machined to accept the factory rear sight, and machined to accept the...
Pretty sure that the Gun Shack in Mount Airy has a couple buckmarks in stock, but I don't remember the models they have.
Also, thats where my buckmark came home from years ago (10+ now)
Love the buckmark so much drilling a hole in it didn't even seem like a bad idea :D
Fast fire 2, I sorta like it. Its light, small and seems to work good for the 2 years I have had it. I have found that I need to practice with it a good amount to get use to the dot location (vs hunting for the dot) but thats mostly from the way the gun "points". Also not 100% sure that I like...
/hijack... did I see steel matches mentioned in there :D I wouldn't mind learning more about this, seeing that not very far up the road from me
and I have been wanting to get in to this type of matches, just don't know where to start...
/end hijack :D
I have a small "range" set up right...
338 win mag on a lightweight browning a-bolt stalker model (synthetic stock)
458 win mag and 375 h&h are worse as well, I wont shoot any of these 3 off a bench, sitting or off hand only
if the plan is a beater range gun, filler, primer coat, then rattle can spray bed liner. Would give it a pretty tough grippy finish, if you keep the spray distance short it will give you a light texture...
Sounds like my last brownells order, 100 357 sig brass... Don't have a gun for it, still in the thinking about getting one stage.
Oh, and I just ordered a brass mower to speed up my brass whoring :D
I know, saw your post on page one, I was the long haired guy w/ the camera and shooting the sig .45, cant really say I shot my ruger mkII cause it was acting all sorts of stupid on me, FTE and double feed plus the trigger started messing up as well.
I also took about 300 photos (tho camera was...
