Wow, I guess I'm done with this site. I came to read informed opinions on guns, and there were plenty here and I'm thankful for that. Great site for gun information. However, the level of political intolerance and bias here is incredible. Threads bashing the president are no issue, but when...
Bloomberg is a douche. My #1 dislike in politicians are those who want to "sterilize" the world for me. I can take care of myself, I don't need you to "protect me" from the big bad world. I like the idea of smoking cigarettes, drinking and basically living life. I might try to protect my...
As somebody who used to race bikes and work in bike shops, I can tell you 'go used'. The average mark up in shops is 100%. For under $500 a new bike will have shiate bearings/bottom bracket/cranks/etc. Look on craigslist. For around $400 you can find some decent used.
I bought a Kimber after hearing a few horror stories. Had a few FTFs within the first 200-300 rnds but from around 400 on, the gun is amazing. By far my favorite pistol right now. I did learn though that Kimber isn't joking when they say "don't grease the rails", especially early on. Once I...
First pistol I BOUGHT at around 24 yrs old (age for conceal carry in WA at the time) was a Lorcin 9mm. God that thing was a POS. I think I got it brand new for around $100 from a local pawn shop.
This is 100% correct - and why I laugh at people who call Obama a socialist. The guy is 100% corporatist. Go look at his advisers - all Goldman Sachs. The "Jobs Bill" farce was nothing but a massive repeal of regulations meant to limit banks gambling with our money like they did leading up to...
Exactly. And if you read through my posts, this is exactly what I said. When I'm in a rural environment or around just friends, I've always open carried. I used to work up on Mnt St Helens and we would open carry. I lived in the desert in Nevada for a while and open carry was the norm. No...
I am 100% behind the right to carry. Been carrying for 20 years (until moving to MD). This original discussion was open carry or not - my opinion was that open carry in places like grocery stores and in general public is needless antagonism of the anti-gun crowd that serves no purpose worth...
And which is also where I disagree with many other libertarians. I'm not 100% in any direction. All sides have things that I agree/disagree with. I'm all for keeping my rights/freedoms, but I also believe in NOT being a complete assh*le just because you can.
