SB1 - Injunctive relief is provided for private property, locations that sell alcohol, and public demonstrations.

Fox45 did an article on this. https://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/federal-judge-halts-key-provisions-of-marylands-gun-safety-act-just-before-enactment In it, they listed places still off limits and listed "a location licensed to sell or dispense alcohol or cannabis for on-site consumption" as...

Supreme Court remits MD assault weapons ban back to lower courts in light of Bruen vs. NY ruling

Question. Can a request be made to the Supreme Court to tell this Court that time is up, either make a decision (in line with Bruen) or the SC will make it for them? Or is that just not how it works?

SB1 (2023) - Criminal Law - Wearing, Carrying, or Transporting Firearms - Restrictions (Gun Safety Act of 2023)

This is why I am a Dino. This way I can vote against the incumbent in the primary. No hope I'll get anything better but if enough of us did it, we might send a message that they won't keep their job.

      Montgomery County Bill 21-22

"If I have 4 guns, and the government takes away 2 guns, how many guns do I have? 37" I like your math!

MSP advisory on AR pistols with braces

Hmmm, ATF says "remove the brace so that it cannot be reattached". That is not the same as saying destroy the brace. I'm so confused .

MSP advisory on AR pistols with braces

That says you have to dispose of the stabilizing brace. Is that in the ATF rules? I could be very wrong but I don't remember seeing that. I don't believe that is in MD law either. Is it true just because MSP says so?

List of FFL's doing SN engraving

Blue Customworks is the bomb! I hate having to have this done, but if you are going to do it, Alejandro knows his stuff. Great guy.

SB1 (2023) - Criminal Law - Wearing, Carrying, or Transporting Firearms - Restrictions (Gun Safety Act of 2023)

Technically, there is a forth way that roads can be created. It's called a prescriptive easement. These are common in rural areas where the road right of ways are created by continued usage. Again, the adjoining property owner owns the land typical out to centerline of the road. My whole point...

SB1 (2023) - Criminal Law - Wearing, Carrying, or Transporting Firearms - Restrictions (Gun Safety Act of 2023)

I've heard the issue of "public roads" come up a couple of times here. I want to clarify something. I have personally designed and created many "public roads". Roads exist as three possible entities; actual fee ownership of the right of way by the governmental entity, private ownership (this is...

      Montgomery County Bill 21-22

Question. This law was passed by the County. Am I correct to assume that it does not apply to other jurisdictions such as Rockville and Gaithersburg?

      Montgomery County Bill 21-22

As I understand the state laws, there are 2 exceptions for transporting a firearm without a permit. One is to go target shooting and the other is to take a firearm to a gunsmith. Would the state law over ride this county crap?

      Montgomery County Bill 21-22

The restricted carry locations are BS, but then they add a 100 yard perimeter to those locations. Double BS? What about those who live next to a park? Are they going to be felons for having legal firearms in their homes? I can't wait until I can move from here.

Here's the problem with Employer references

I'm lucky. My new company owns a hunting lease in Texas where we take clients. I would say at least 80 percent of the staff have guns.

Maryland CCW Application via MDSP Portal

How long is the 16 hour training valid before I submit an application? I might do the training now and wait to submit unless there is a time limit on the expiration of the training.

      HB 1021

Thanks for the link. I did notice that the bill does not have definitions. I now understand the thought process but personally believe that even if passed as written, the state would be hard pressed to convict a FFL03 for being a licensed dealer when ATF explicitly says it is not a license to...

      HB 1021

Can someone explain to me the email I just got from MSI which briefly reviews all of the current gun bills in the GA. In it's discussion about HB 1021 ( a horrible bill that needs to be defeated) the email says that the storage regulations would also affect FFL03's. I don't understand where that...

      Question about pistol build legality

Ok, so now I have a question. I understand that you do not, per ATF, need a serial number to sell an 80 percent that you have built, but, does it need a serial number in order for you to buy it in the utopia of Maryland? How does the handgun roster come into play? Thanks

      Boots?

I had a pair of Red Wings with a Vibram sole last for 25 years. I probably walked at least 2000 miles in them.

HB0004 Rifles and Shotguns - Secondary Transactions

NewTwo, knovotny, and all of the others who had feet on the ground. I truly appreciate what you have done. For me to be there would have cost me my job. Instead, I chose to support MSI with a several hundred dollar donation to help fight the battle. But, I am a bit taken aback by some of the...
