FYI, NASA FCU's Annapolis branch (next to the Amish market) does not have signs, a locking portal or a passive scanner. I do all of my walk in business there.

@IrishUSAF That readout gives me hope that I’m nearing approval. We submitted on the same day, my app was accepted on 7/11 and I just got my NICS number on 7/25. I also used my DD214 training exemption. I still haven’t gotten the investigator assigned email but it can’t be too far away now.
@Buff7mm it looks like we’re still neck and neck. I checked the portal during a layover and I got the NICS #. No investigator like you noted. See you at approved in August.
@Buff7mm - Misery and anticipation loves company I suppose. I think your estimated timeline is accurate. I'll be TDY for a week without my personal laptop so I'll be unable to check the MDSP portal until 7/28. I bet you'll have your approval before mine.
