Anyone have a breakdown of MD Carry permit numbers by county/city?

I am a former 20-year MD resident but have been a PA resident for the last 2 years. Got my PA permit within a month of moving to PA, and a few months ago went through the MD required training and permitting process to get my MD "Wear and Carry", as we have adult children and grandchildren still...

      Bear Branch Carroll County Carry

Yes, that's the one. Thanks for the response. It's a shame, especially in Carroll County.

      Bear Branch Carroll County Carry

I ride my horse a lot at the trails in Bear Branch / Carroll County, MD. I have a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit but still do not know if I am legal to carry in the Bear Branch trail system in Caroll County. Can anyone direct me to where I can find the answer.

21 days since HGP Application Accepted

My date of application was 9/19, my NICS was done on 9/28, my "Final Disposition" was entered on 10/25 which included my permit number and noted "Restrictions: NONE". I got an email on 10/25 from MSP noting that I would receive written notification of the disposition via the United States Postal...

      Most likely cause for this......?

Because I have had a pretty good stockpile of Speer Lawman in 380 , that is what has been predominantly shot through this LCP. I also have some Magtech in 380 interspersed in various range trips. Both brands are brass casings. Sometimes I would shoot a few mags of Speer Gold Dot or a some...

      Most likely cause for this......?

I have used steel case ammo in my 9mm and 45, but had not used steel case in the LCP. Just never bought it is 380.

      Most likely cause for this......?

Not a full time carry for me, but I guess, up until this last outing, I could. I suppose every reliable pistol is reliable until that one time it isn't. At that point you either get to the source and resolve it or move on. I'll have to decide, after a few hundred rounds post extractor...

      Most likely cause for this......?

This LCP has been a reliable pistol, but really not a great deal of rounds through it. I would guess between 500-700. Up to this last outing, no issues at all that I can recall. I ordered two extractors from Ruger, just in case for the future.

      Most likely cause for this......?

This prompted me to look up how to remove the extractor, and, there you go.....broken tip with very sharp edge making that nick at 2 o'clock. New extractor has been ordered. Thanks to all!

      Most likely cause for this......?

This is an LCP II. Shot a couple of mags of FMJ and all went well. Then both mags using the same FMJ ammo consistently resulted in failure to extract the fired round resulting in the leading edge of the following round being forced against the fired round still in chamber. Could it be as simple...

      Is a 22LR or 25ACP Better for SELF-DEFENCE?

I'm glad this debate was finally settled(/sarcasm). I side with Steelteacher.

York County and home target shooting

We landed in Adams county, which luckily puts me just a short drive to the Sherriff's office.

York County and home target shooting

OP back with update. Once I received my PA DL, I applied online for my carry permit. It was two days later I received the email and voicemail that I was approved and could schedule a time to pick of my carry permit. About as good service as it could be. Will be picking it up in a couple of days.

York County and home target shooting

Not much activity here, but thought I would see if someone who knows the answer might just be reading. We will soon be moving to somewhere outside of Hanover, PA - somewhere in York County. We will likely end up with a home in the country but not much in the way of acreage. Likely less than...

      Dayton Shooter

The founding fathers we so rightfully refer to in terms of their wisdom and insight, explicitly noted that SCOTUS has full judicial power to hear, interpret, enforce, or nullify laws, particularly as those laws relate to the constitution. The founding fathers left SCOTUS as the interpreter. In...

      Dayton Shooter

Who is the "you" that is "letting them"? The answer then is, don't let them. How do you do that? Because, it sounds like if your are not not letting them, then you are letting them. How does one not let them?

      Confiscation question.

What is the most plausible - no really, devils advocate level plausible - proposition as to how confiscation happens without 2a being repealed. My thought is that the only plausible scenario where we still have a 2A is a liberal majority SCOTUS that rules that 2A in fact is not an individual...
