To answer questions:
I was born and raised in Maryland but after retirement, I realized that I just couldn't stomach living there any longer because of taxes, politics, and gun laws. I did leave family behind and visit often, but when I do I would very much like the ability to defend myself...
I thought that I could use a local Live Scan vendor here in AZ and provide the technician with the appropriate MSP agency numbers but I guess not.
Agency Authorization Number: 9400082484
Agency ORI Number: MDMSP6000
Reason Fingerprinted: MD Public Safety Article, Section 5-305
I learned the same in my AZ concealed carry training class. In Arizona, a person who holds a valid AZ Concealed Carry Permit is exempt from the Gun Free School Zone Act restriction.
I am looking for help with the Maryland W&C permit process since I live in Arizona but I plan to visit family in MD this year.
I have my AZ permit and I understand that MD does not offer non-resident permits, so I assume that I have to apply for a MD W&C permit in the same way as a MD...
This morning Governor Hogan will be calling into The T-Bone and Heather Show on WSMD STAR 98.3 FM. If someone would like to try to call in to the radio show (301-884-8255) and talk directly to him about the PP arrests here is an opportunity...
This is not an attack or anything, and I understand that yes the barrel may be the correct profile and all but no where do I see the Faxon barrel advertised or stamped as a HEAVY BARREL; it’s just described as Barrel Profile: Heavy Fluted. If you don’t think it’s a big deal and feel comfortable...
Again, the barrel is not advertised nor stamped IAW COMAR or the MSP Advisory.
There's no need to get in a letter writing campaign with MSP or the manufacture when I can just purchase one that is advertised and stamped HEAVY BARREL or H-BAR.
I followed that link and read the information regarding that barrel and do not see anywhere that the barrel is described by the manufacture as a "Heavy Barrel".
Is there anything supporting that "Heavy Fluted" meets the letter of the MD law "Heavy Barrel"?
Interesting, so it has two butt stocks; The original and the second folding stock which makes it Maryland legal.
I'm sure it won't be long before some schmuck writes a letter asking the MSP/ATF if shouldering this firearm with the stock folded; thus in a <29" OAL configuration, does that...
For the 2nd topic only...
It should include the entire Shockwave to the end of the barrel minus any non-permanently attached muzzle devices.
Yes, once it exceeds 26" it is no longer concealable and not considered a handgun so you may attach a vertical forward grip.

I had a Koi pond for about two weeks. Then every damn frog within a half mile radius relocated to my yard every night to get their freak on. The croaking until 2AM was so deafening I had to sleep with a pillow on my head. I came home one day, gave the Koi to my neighbor, drained the pond, and...
As Brad mention and if I'm not mistaken, the MSP just approved the sale of the Arsenal 104 which is an AK-74 rifle as cash and carry, so a replacement receiver for this rifle should be good to go as long as it will work on your particular build.
I would talk to a shop like Engage and see if...
I have had great success in luring raccoons and opossums into traps using cans of tuna that I've punctured a few holes in and secured with bailing wire inside the trap. I don't have a trap big enough for a fox but if that bait works for the other two "chicken killers" I'm sure it'll work on a fox.
