      My first attempt. Ran 6-7 mags through it over the weekend and it cycled great. I used 1000 grit paper and the Dremel with buffer wheel to smooth everything but I'm not sure that was even necessary. Poly80 Glock 17 Frame by AR 15

      I use snap caps or just stop and dry fire a few times when I catch myself flinching. I find dry firing at the TV helpful too when I can't get to the range as often as I like. "Ball and dummy" (most call it) is another good way to train/test yourself if you have someone else with you to setup...

      Just a bit over the price range but the 1-6 Primary Arms is a great scope for the $. Depends how much magnification (if any) you are looking for.

      Smooth bore is an interesting idea. What would shot placement look like firing 5.56 out of a 11.5 smooth bore "pipe" at say 25 or 50 yards? (I already searched for a .223/5.56 barrel with smooth bore to test it myself but cannot find any :D)

      That is a real head scratcher. Can't possibly see how the gun in the picture doesn't require a stamp. I'm guessing some fine print like... *when sold with suppressor/flash hider permanently attached or when sold with brace instead of stock.

      When MD started down this path a LEO friend and I looked at providing security for the industry. There was nothing in the applications (dispensary, processing etc) stating active LEO could not be used at the time but this was several years ago. We did learn that other states didn't allow...

      Colorado doesn't allow LEO to work security jobs related to marijuana AFAIK. If MD hasn't already done the same I'd be surprised.

      Since your father is on the trust as an owner I'd probably just register a lower to leave at his house. Then you can just transport uppers back and forth.
