i went with multiple safes over one for two reasons. first was getting safes into my basement was tight and one big one would not make it down he stairwell. the other was pricing. with black friday deals it was pretty much the same price to get two safes and it was more capacity. the only...
here is what i did with my separation/divorce 8 years ago. i moved the guns to my parents house while we were still in the same house. i didn't want her to be able to use the guns against me with a po or with any law enforcement if it got nasty. luckily is never it did. i negotiated to keep my...
my next scope for the 10/22 i just finished for squirrel hunting is going to be this scope from swfa. just because of the 9.5 oz weight.

i have a crossfire II 2-7 that others have...
i agree some of the .223/5.56 mags have trouble feeding with bigger bullets that are used with subs. i have not had issues with supers and 5.56 mags. i have lancer and magpul 300bo mags that i use just for subs. no issues with those dedicated mags and subs.
i have access to a private range in WV. it doesn't have cover on the shooting lines. plus didn't want to deal with the snow/ice that they more than likely got.
i would suggest using a ballistic calculator. punch in the data and it will give you how much each bullets drop, then you can create a dope chart. Ballistic Coefficients and velocity all matter. the farther the distance the more is matters.
i shooter and StrelokPro shooter gives a nice chart...
i have no experience with the sh4 or sh4j. so i cant help with the comparison. but i have an ep5 and it is worth the money. the sh4j is supposed to have the Japanese glass. which i believe is the same that is in the ep5. the 50mm (sh4) vs 56mm(ep5) objective is why the eyebox is more forgiving...
ar-15 would be my choice. the rifle calibers have better performance. 30rd mags and faster follow up shots with the semi-auto. the ar is easier to learn to operate than an ak imo. i assume the ak is 7.62. so the ar in .223 would be easier to shoot and locate ammo for. plus the huge aftermarket...
i disagree i have to renew soon and i don't want to do all the hql stuff again. i see no point in it. i have guns already why do i need to prove to the crown that i can buy more when i want to. all gun laws are infringements
i run cfe blk at 12.0 grs with 220 gn berry bullets out of a 10.5 inch barrel ar. i am around 1000 fps. when i get home i will get the exact fps.
i think with the 190 sub-x and the longer barrel you will have to drop the load to get to sub sonic.
my ar would cycle down at 11.4 grs of cfe...
i also have the ssa-e and larue mbt triggers. i cant find a huge difference. they both are amazing triggers. i have the LaRue in my 12.5 and 14.5 rifles. the ssa-e is in my 18"spr. you can go wrong with either.
the 300bo suppressed is my favorite right now. i think the only thing that would be...
i used to use the bcm vert grip, but i also felt it was too uncomfortable. i started using emissary handbrake.
vertical grips, pistol grips and stocks are all user preference. one is not typically better than the other, just what feels best to the shooter...
