      actually saw a video(i'll have to track it down) where a hole was punch clean through it and it still functioned, albeit not nearly as good as before but was still capable of targeting. Remember it being the video that convinced me the price was worth it :lol2:

      I personally have the xfs2 with eotechs magnifier, I love it and it is very sturdy and effective...BUT, had I known about the options in 1-4x etc illuminated glass in the same price range as that combo at the time...well I would have a pretty sweet piece of glass instead.       If a large part of getting one is for HD then might I suggest an EOTech. Not unmanageably heavy, outstanding field of view and can be had for "cheap"(depending on model and new or used). Also the holographic nature of the sight means its a lot more forgiving on acquisition. Only downside really...

      If it were an AR part I'd most likely have ya covered but as it is, a bit thin on the ground with SKS parts, unless you're in the market for a draggy stock and railed receiver cover lol.

      Well, finally got the stock fitted to the receiver. Requires a bit of file work, but the fit is super tight at least. Just have to get a better pin for the new receiver cover latch(comes with a solid pin and feel a roll pin would be alot easier to get installed...unless anyone has done the solid...

      13" KMR rail is in stock

      Wouldn't say it's overpriced. But if you are considering the MI keymod I can say I'm happy with mine on my recent 300 build. Only chose over the BCM for personal aesthetic reasons.

      The "new" magazine came in today. Got lucky and found one for 30 on ebay. Will install and order the replacement stock, receiver cover and tech sight on sunday when I get back from camping at Hershey this weekend. Should come together pretty quick.
