+1 P-01 or a Shield 9mm depending on how small I need it to be.
I shot the P365 and I'm apparently the only one who doesn't like it. No matter what I did, I couldn't get a good grip on it with my big hands.
After building a new 9mm AR, I was having some doubling and tripling happening. After taking a closer look at the trigger (JMT pack trigger) I was doing a function check and noticed that if you pushed forward on the hammer with the trigger depressed (after resetting the hammer) it would release...
This is how we lose folks. Having been a part of MSI for a while now, we can send an email out and get people demanding we be more aggressive and at the same time people complaining that we went too far. We all have differences of opinions on how to fight the 2A fight. I might not like...
I just finished my build last week, I went with a Brownells RMR-cut slide and Glock internals. Sadly, even with the more pronounced beaver tail, the slide still bites my right hand. It sure shoots well though. Also, the TruGlo sights are going on all of my guns from now on. They are amazing!
I was under the impression carrying a fixed blade knife like a bowie knife was illegal...Maryland law prohibits the carry of "dangerous weapons" that includes bowie knives. Am I missing something?
I just saw this great deal. I'm going to give my first pistol build a go. Went with a smooth grip as I always put talon tape on anyway. Now to look for threads on uppers...
Most people have similar experiences during their interviews, the trooper that interviewed me was an A-class guy as well. It isn't until you encounter the tyrants from the licensing division that you start to lose your respect for the MSP.
Oddly, when I first got into firearms, I thought it was strange that the lower was classified as the "firearm". It made more sense that the upper should be the "firearm". But that ship has sailed, this is a sad attempt to accomplish what exactly? Whatever they do, they'll have to grandfather...
I've never owned a revolver before as I prefer semi-autos. But I had grown tired of not having one for demonstration during training classes. So, in an attempt to up my game a little I decided to purchase a fun-gun a 6.5" Raging Bull in 454 Casull.
I purchased some 45 Colt and some 454 Casull...
I'm aware of the issues on some of their firearms. This is mainly just a fun-gun. I'm not going to trust it with my life. Just looking for something fun that doesn't cost $1000. Though, my understanding was that Taurus had a pretty good warranty, wouldn't they just fix the issues?
If there is no outdoor range close to you, get an indoor range membership. Then look up some shooting drills and practice them at the range regularly (think weekly). You'll improve quickly.
