Thanks Norton!!
Bud's has my FFL on file and I can do the fired shell casing if required as well. All you need to do is buy the gun and tell them to ship it to me. There is an on-line course that takes about 20 minutes if you are a slow reader at Marylandgunsafety.com.
Hollar if I can help...
I have 4 seats left for a husband and wife Utah CCW class to be held on 29 Jan 11 at my shop in Centreville. I do these classes with limited number of students and I find the wives are much more interested in the class and get more out of the classes and ask more questions when they are not part...
I just did 4 guns for fired shell casings this morning and they seem to be a pretty good guns for the money. I think the 22 lr guns are on the list since I did them for a MD Dealer.
To the best of my knowledge, you can do the receiver on a 4473 as a rifle and use pistol length barrels as long as you have a pistol grip on the receiver. If you use a butt stock and a pistol barrel, it becomes a short barreled rifle and needs the Form 1 or 4 approved.
According to Bill...
This class will give you carry privileges in 32 states. If you look at their web site http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/FAQother.html it will give you the details.

Hi Folks,
My next UTAH class will be held at the Centreville American Legion Hall in Centreville, MD on 8 May 10 from 0800 - 1200. Cost is $100 for the class and we will be offering finger printing and color photos required for the application for $15 each. I hope to also have a Notary Public...
I had my application sent back from VA because I printed a digital photo on paper. I took the same photo and printed it on photo quality paper and it flew thru. I also sent a cy of my Utah permit back the second time.

FYI: My Utah CCW class will be held on 6 March 10 at the...
A little off subject, but I have a 7.62x39 chambered .308 (1 in 8") bore barrel on order to do some sub work with heavy bullets. I have played some with a SKS that I made into a single shot "bolt" gun by pulling the the gas tube. That works pretty well, but the accuracy is awful due to a shot...
You are correct.....I subtracted the number of states that do not accept (16) from 50 and came up with 34...infact it is 33 as shown below from their web site...Thanks Jim!!:
Although there are many states that will recognize the Utah concealed firearm permit, the State of Utah has formal...
Hi Folks,
My first Utah CCW class will be on 6 Mar 10 in Centreville. I have a number of folks over here that would like to attend so the first one will be on the Shore. If I get interest on the western shore, we'll do the next one over there.
It's good in 34 states....just NOT in MD yet...
If it is a new handgun transferred in MD it needs a fired casing.
I do them for $25 and I charge $30 for the transfer. I special order for my cost plus 15% and shipping but I can't beat most of the big out of state dealers....so I welcome transfer business.
I'm just expanding into shooting related training. I'm still doing Intelligence Community related training which you folks probably aren't interested in and I have pretty much given up flight training which I did for 25 years. Anyone want to buy a Cessna 170?
I've been a NRA instructor in...
I'm going to SLC the 3rd week of Jan 10 to complete the Utah CCW Instructor training and will be setting up classes in February, probably in the Glen Burnie, Linthicum area. I can't give specifics yet, but will publish the date and location as soon as I return from SLC. I'm going to charge $100...

My folks have been running 4-6 months for no particular reason...just the way it is. Like Jeepdriver said....file and forget or get laid repeatedly until they come back...either way, no one yet has said the wait wasn't worth it when they walked out with their toy!!
Not to throw more mud in the water, but I'm pretty sure that an AOW with a $5 stamp can NOT be "created" on a Form 1 and can only be done by a 07/SOT manufacturer. Anytime the "maker" is not a manufactuer, it costs $200 to make it.
If I make one as an 07/SOT it is free to register it on a...
