I have used Jim at Retic Arms on several transfers, $35 including the $10 MSP.
Home based FFL, evening & weekends only. Off Rt 15 about 1.5 miles north of Point of Rocks.
I was outbid at the last minute by a NR bidder and the item is back online only after two days. It makes me awfully suspicious to the point if shill bidding was involved, but at the same time, I’m glad that I didn’t get played like a fool.

I got this brand new GSG compact for dirt cheap ($175) last year off GunBroker, so I figure I go crazy, and put a $30 mount & a $20 red dot.
Looks like a border line mall ninja arsenal, but I think my 13year old son will have fun at the range.
I assembled mine for around $550. Palmetto Glock Lower $100, 9mm Upper with BGC $350, LPK $40 & 9mm buffer spacer $18.
The stock & buffer tube assemblies are leftover from previous project. I think it turned out OK.
The dust cover has clear marking of type 63 in Korean. And receiver, bolt handle also have Korean Alphabet markings as well. It may well be worth $5,000 now, but after reunification of two Koreas, god knows when, it will be just another $400 Surplus SKS.
I say go for it. Parts are readily available & the feeling that you get from converting the 03/A3 sporters back to their original configuration is just priceless. These are some of my A3 rifles I’m currently working on, the bottom one will probably need a new barrel. Others need a lot of work too.
I lived (Orleans street) and worked (Pratt Street) in the Greatest American City for fifteen years prior to moving to Germantown & I got tell you, I am so glad I’d moved.
The images of free roaming wretched ghetto thugs are forever ingrained in my mind.
It is a cool looking rifle & shoots nice with nice ergonomics, but it sure has massive amount of plastic all around. Unlike my M&P 15-22, you can hardly feel the bolt lock open on the last shot because of beefy plastic body.
I’m sure the price will settle down to around $400 range when all...
I just came back from UPS Gaithersburg customer center off shady grove & the lady told me I need a FFL to ship firearms once I told her what I was shipping. And then after I showed her copy of my C&R license (she didn’t know the difference between 01, 03 or 07) I happened to have in my car, she...
How about a M1 Garand in 22 WMR that operates the same way as the real thing with the clip. Heck, how about SVT-40, G43 or other famous military rifles chambered in 22 WMR. These will be Cash & Carry, and compared to 22LR, will have considerably more shooting enjoyment.
The only 22 WMR...
Congratulation on you new K-31, I bought mine last year from a dealer in PA for just little over $300. Seems like it has been going up $50 every year, considering current market condition & especially from a Maryland gun show, I say it was a good deal.
As for the clamp on scope mount, it is a...
I just came back from the show, all in all it wasn’t a bad show for me at least for what I was looking for. Like the previous posts stated, high capacity magazines & just about all semi auto rifles were priced outrageously. The comforting fact is that most of the bolt action rifles were priced...
I understand that it is all pure capitalism at work, but I find some of the prices being asked just plain absurd, nevertheless at least they are asking a specific amount.
What makes me mad is those who try to run the classify like the auction site, If you want to find out what the market...
The FFL will not release the firearm until they hear from the MDSP.
Same thing happened to me last year when my Sig 2022 was put on hold. I didn't know the reason until I called the MDSP. You have to call & call until you could find the trooper who is in charge and get the reason for the...
My car was broken into last Thursday for the second time in four months & what makes it worst this time is that the crooks stole all my music CDs which one of them contains all my firearms information. I’m just hoping they throw it away without realizing what it is. Meantime, I put up a alarm...
My new Sig 556.
Originally, I was in the market for 522, but I figure for few hundred more, I got its big brother. It shoots great, and gets dirty fast just like my AR-15. Gas piston or direct gas impingement, I don’t understand all the fuss, they are both great systems I think.
I bought...
All your sins are forgiven ! I’m sure John Browning would have bought a GLOCK too, if he was alive. And turn it into a Single Action semi auto.
I have posted a thread earlier this year why I hated Glocks and got flamed big time for not having any kind of previous experience with them. So...
I'm going to make this simple for you !
If you buy the SW 22a pistol, I'll give you the two magazines pictured below. I was going to Karma out the various accessories I no longer use, but since you asked what is the best all around 22lr pistol for the money, I say SW 22a.
