Is the pistol range open yet? I thought someone said it would be closed for about 2 weeks. As far as stands go, I have a PVC pipe base but to each their own.
You won't be disappointed, I love mine. It is fun and great gun to shoot. Although I'm interested in trying out the Beretta ARX160, looks like it could be fun too.
Hello,
I was thinking of picking up a Remington 887, the 28inch barrel. I have heard mixed reviews on it. A co-worker has one, and never had any issues with it. I have also shot his and I like it as well. I know almost everyone will point me to an 870, which is a good gun. I have shot...
I'm looking to change out my original stock on my Stag with the Mako/Fab Defense GL-Mag stock. For those not familiar, it's the stock that has a built-in mag carrier with a 10 round mag. So what is everyone's thoughts? Are they a decent stock? Does anyone on here have one on their setup...
I called them yesterday about my AR interned since June. They said I could come in and pick it up. They told me they were calling those with the oldest paperwork first. Now they are doing the 8 release as stated above. May get one more purchase before the deadline.
Glad to hear everyone is satisfied with their FNS 9. That is going to be my next purchase. I have an FNP 40, which I love, and based on what you said about the FNS, I can't wait to get one.
Thanks for info everyone. I learn something new everyday, I didn't know there are just a handful of manufacturers that produce the majority of lowers. I always thought, for example Colt did (make/manufacutre) all of their stuff inhouse. My main concern was if there were any out there just to...
While I am still relatively new to ARs, I was wondering what or who has a good AR lower? I know there are a lot of choices out there, but was wondering who's might be a set up from the rest. I have seen and shot polymer lowers like New Frontier's but I'd prefer the aluminum lowers.
As the title implies does any IP have any LMT lowers in stock and if so what are they going for. I just bought a rifle at the beginning of this but would like to get at least another lower.
I've seen links to places that will engrave lowers and such on another board, I want to say the AR15 board maybe. If I recall correctly, the lower has to be completely stripped prior to shipping it to them. Depending on if I get a lower before Oct. 1st, I may look into some personalized...
Bafflingbs - Do you remember whose (manufacturer) quad-rail you used? I see Stag also offers a "plus package" with a different bolt option and a barrel with a 1:7 twist. If they sell those uppers separately I may try to pick one up. Definitely going to pick up another lower complete or...
I'm glad everyone has good experiences with their Stags, as well as good customer service experience too. Did that quad-rail come with the Stag or was it aftermarket? I know Stag does make/offer tactical models but I thought their rail system was different. More than likely I'll do Magpul...
Yeah the lifetime warranty and the fact that I heard nothing but good reviews on their customer service helped too. Can't wait to take it out to the range.
Hey,
After looking at various rifles under the $1000 dollar mark, I decided to pick a Stag Model 2 from Village Arms in Gap, Pennsylvania. For a something I'm just going to take to the range and plink with, I didn't want to go really over a $1000. This rifle was well below that price mark...
The rifle I was looking at is 5.56. Yeah price wise for about 150 dollars more I could go with Colt or Sig (M400). I also haven't ruled out a S&W M&P 15 MOE which are roughly the same price as the Core, but the shops around me don't have any of the M&P 15s.
