      ATI Buffer tube kit- problem or picky?

      Although it doesn't mean much, they shipped the replacement from Texas. The construction/quality of the tube is A+. The buffer though is awful just based on this noise. I've never seen a buffer make so much noise in my life. You think being a $60 buffer tube kit it would be flawless.

      Great picture, thank you. I saw the roll pin but I wasn't sure if it was pinned in to place or something. I'll try to take it apart tonight. Based on the noise I'd be shocked if there were any rubber pads in this thing at all.

      Any local shops in Howard County that sell a decent amount of AR parts? stocks, hand guards, etc. Maybe some Magpul? I noticed that they have a small amount in Bass Pro now but nothing too exciting. Mostly Tapco garbage.

      I feel yea on the mag releases and safeties. I've got a lot better will the mag changes but some of those safeties can be a bitch. I've let far too many turkeys get away trying to flick off the safety on "right handed" shotguns.
