      How important is it to get an accurate powder charge?

      get hodgdon powders they are well known for having the least amount of extreme spread also the #1 used competition powder by a large margin. this makes measuring powder much easier because like noahhh said you can just throw charges and not worry about it once you get your load worked up.

      The kidd supergrade isknown for there amazing groups and they bed the entire action and free float the barrel. I know that free floating the action is a common practice but I am going to try this bedding job and if it does not work then I will bed the barrel. :D

      thanks I just got some more devcon plastic steel to redo the barrel bedding and clean up the rest of the bedding. jbweld marine does not get glass hard it stay a little soft not good for a barrel bed and the bedding should stop at perfect perpendicular to the barrel the sides should not...
