Any farms that will rent a place to shoot?

I am looking to rent any farm land, preferably in Harford county, for about 4 hours on Friday May 22nd. I have 6 people. Will be extremely respectful. If anyone can help or knows where I can turn please let me know. I belong to a gun range, but due to the Holiday weekend I want to be able to...

Ar15 backorder and possible new legislatation

it is my understanding that for any firearm to be grandfathered it must be registered and in your possession before any legislation passes. Meaning if it is not in your hands with approved paperwork then it isn't yours. Really stinks.

      How long do suppressors last?

According to Gem-tech's website some of the pistol suppressors they offer have had a noted service life of 300,000 rounds and some of the rifle suppressors with a service life of over 100,000 rounds. Now I have no idea wether or not there were parts replaced or ideal circumstances or what.

      AAC M4-2000 or Gemtech G5?

I have a G5 and a HVT (7.62) if you only are going to get one can get it in 7.62 if you plan on having more than one get both. I got the G5 to give my 7.62 can an occational break. If you get the gemtech hvt, quicksand or g5 they all use the same smith vortex adaptors so you can push and click...

has anyone used a trust to purchase nfa items

Yeah I just used a trust, you only pay a $200 tax stamp. The addition of items to the trust (amendments) are free. The tax stamp is always charged per each NFA item. I have no tax ID, are you sure you are not using a corporation? Tax ID's are for corporation use. Either way you can get...

      Suppressed boltgun barrel length

A 26" barrel may make subsonic rounds go sonic. Most suppressor companies reccommend 20" barrel or less. You can still shoot sonic ammo and it will be nice. I run a 20" savage with a gemtech HVT and shoot sonic ammo through it. You have to decide what you want. Either a cut down 20" that...

      SBR issues

is the ammo .223 or 5.56. sometimes shorties need the higher pressure of the 5.56 to cycle vs the lower pressure of .223. I think the rem umc is .223 which is fine in 16 inch plus guns. try some federal 5.56 and see if this helps correct the issue.

11.5" vs 7.5" Which would you choose and why?

if you ever want to suppress go with the 11.5" most cans recc 10.4" or longer to ensure proper stabilization and prevent baffle strikes. Like most others have said easier cycling with 11.5"

      NFA and crime stats?

Anti 2A folks don't pay attention to statistics or reality, they just cling to scare tactics and use NFA items to drum up fear. It is a shame.
