Jack West Pro-Combo stock for trap gun

I was in an accident, last fall, that left me with a cracked vertebrae in my neck. Doc says if your gonna be dumb enough to shoot trap, find least recoil possible. I am considering this fully adjustable, recoil reduction stock for my 1100. Any trap shooters out there ever try one of these?

DE resident out of state long gun purchase

I am a DE resident and I've bought several shotguns at MD shows, over the years. Unless the MD law has changed, it is still legal.

      Taurus 738 .380

Brent & Lawdog, would you mind telling me what bullets your pistols prefer; the ones that you carry for protection. Might save me some $$ experimenting. I will do some "informal" ballistics testing after I find a couple that feed 100% reliable in the pistol I get.

      Taurus 738 .380

Thanks. It would/will be replacing a NAA Guardian .32, that doesn't fit my hand naturally and is just a very inaccurate snapshot shooter, for me. The trigger pull requires a very specific grip, with my hand; not very fast or reliable. But, it has proven to be a very concealable and is very...

      Taurus 738 .380

I am thinking of buying a new Taurus (made in USA) 738 TCP .380. Can anyone speak to their experience owning/shooting one? It would be a pocket pistol backup to my XDS 45. Crimson trace will probably added, if I get one.

      Zastava M77 in .308?

Sorry Sam, did not intend to hi-jack. I just recently rcvd my M77; my first 7.62x51. I'm at the beginning of the learning curve. Thanks for all the info. I'm beginning to check out, on youtube, a poster named ginsboy. He shows step by step how he takes a M77 and "converts" back to military...

      Zastava M77 in .308?

I noticed that my standard Belarus made AK mounts do not work on this M77. There is a rear wall to the rail groove that stops the mount before it slides forward enough to stabilize & lock; I have quick release type mounts. Can anyone recommend an optic mount that will firmly fit this rifle's...

      Oaks 12/19 - 12/21

I'm thinking of going up tomorrow. Looking for a PSL or similar 7.62x54r semi. A friend is looking for some Zastava M77 or M14 7.62x51 mags.

      Springfield XD .......

Labor Day sale at Cabelas, I up graded my CCW from a mint SS, Interarms .380 to a .45 XDS. Loaded with Federal HST 230g ammo, I will never be concerned about "stopping power" again. The Springield Armory XDS website enlightened me to the free mag (Gear Up) promo going on. Within 3 weeks I had...

Oaks Gun Show Extravaganza 2,000 Tables 3/28-3/30/2014

Spent over 4hrs there yesterday; will go again. The deals are there, when you find a vender willing to "negotiate". Some will gladly "work a deal" and some act like you insult them. Sunday afternoons can be a good time to "negotiate" deals. I was trying to move a WWI rifle for a 7.65 PPK...

DE resident shooting at MD state range

Well I have been shooting milsurps at the state range for several years. I probably couldn't find my old purchase rcpts if I needed them. Here is another loop to consider. My nephew (SC resident) active duty USCG. He has a bunch of semi-auto milsurps (my sis still is DE). Every time he's...

DE resident shooting at MD state range

Hello, I want to shoot at Elk Neck State Forrest Range. I have an AK, an AR, and a few other milsurp semi & bolt action rifles. Are there any legal restrictions on what I can shoot there?

      Saiga rifles?

Yes, Saiga factory thumbhole stocks. I will look for a pic of one and post it. My first 7.62x39 came with one. I later found just the Saiga stock for sale from someone who converted a 5.45x39; so I bought it and tried it on my .223. It is now on my 5.45. The .223 is gone and of course now I...

      Saiga rifles?

I have had them in .223, 5.45x39, & 7.62x39. I was lucky enough to get two of them with OEM thumbhole stocks. The 5.45 is good for 1 to 1.5" groups at 100yds. But that is bench rest with scope. I enjoy shooting them a lot and the 5.45 is still very "cheap" to shoot. It is a shame that the...

      Beretta Neos

Got mine (NIB 7" barrel) a couple days ago; went to the farm to test fire. All I had was some Aquila 40g lr ammo. Only had time to fire two mags. Each mag had at least one or two FTFs (re-tried them and 2 fired the second time) and each mag had at lest 2 bullets that jammed on the feed ramp...

GUN SHOW OCT 19-20 2013 near Wilmington, Delaware

I was lucky enough to get 5 boxes of Aquila 22 lr ammo there, for $20. There was plenty of other brands from $6 to $10 a box. I saw a few bricks for $50 but the writing was not English....Euro I think. I never saw it before so I passed.

      9mm social ammo in a Glock 19

147g pdx1; "supposedly" opens more consistently thru cloth, into ballistic gel, than the hotter 124g when fired, 7yds or less, out of a stock g19. I plan on doing my own "tests" to compare. Could be BS; so it gives me an excuse to have fun "testing".

US MN 1891s at Nur Temple, DE show

Neither had original wood or all original bolt components; I did not see an "SA" or the re-numbered rear sight on either. The lighting was terrible and I didn't need one, so I very, briefly looked at the barrel shanks and wood. I have seen both sellers at local DE shows and know how to get in...
