:DWell, I doubt a woman would call and talk about guns of that kind. I knew he was wrong because he was so animated in his speech but I did correct him yesterday. :)
Thanks for that. The guy called me last night all hopped up and excited.:lol2: So I am glad you guys told me that. I knew it was too good to be true. But the ar build makes logical sense to me.
I know the 308 have been cash and carry but supposedly there was also allowances made for the lowers. But I guess people were in talking to some commandos at the gun shop. :o
You are right. Lots of confusion. I had a call last night from a man that said the laws were back to what they were prior to October 1 of last year. Of course, he was wrong. But there are some allowances and exceptions concerning ar style firearms so that is why I asked on here. I appreciate...

I would recommend that the op look at the crimes charged and then look at other states to reside. Maryland has some very archaic laws and applies them as they wish. Unless you are rich or politically connected they can and will do what they want to do and there is nothing you can do.
I have...
That is absurd. If a son or daughter wants to take the gun to the range why would they need a permit if they are of legal age and not disqualified from possessing a firearm?
