      Sock recommendations

      I’ve tried some of the high tech synthetic socks, but merino wool is the best. Breathable and doesn’t hold the stink like synthetics so.

      Don’t know if they still make them, but Engage Armament right here in MD made some great billet lowers. I bought a pair before the panic of 2012-2013.

      Sweet. I went to that show for the first time back in 1982 when it was still held downwind the armory. It’s like a museum with stuff for sale. I’d love a nice US property marked .22 trainer.

      I built one about 10 years ago. Kind of a novelty. Just a loud range toy. Haven’t used it in years. Actually, my 10.5 SBR is my favorite AR, despite the added noise.

      Like a few others have said the 43x is a great CCW. Of all my Glocks it’s the one I shoot the worst. Not sure why. I tend to carry my 26 instead because it’s a bit shorter in the grip and doesn’t print as easily. Plus I shoot the 26 as good as my 17 and 19.
