I’d like to point out something not yet discussed in this thread. I am now training my teenage daughter, and I have observed many new shooters at the range. Most teenage/20 something girls would be more comfortable learning from another young girl than an older dude with a ton of credentials...
I am not a lawyer, but I did try reading the decision. The decision says the defendant did not apply for a carry permit, so Bruen decision does not apply.

OC is likely more protected than CC. Also, a ban on long guns for 18-20 years old will make the handgun ban easier to challenge.

By increasing the fee for no reason it will be harder for justify in court. Yes, the goal is $0. Just like when I register to vote.

Currently 18-20 year olds cannot buy or carry handguns. Denying All guns to 18-20 will make the court case easier to grant carry permits for 18 year olds.

So based on the PowerPoint there are 20K permits in the pipeline, giving us 100K soon. My guess is the total will go to 300K before things settle out.
