P80s are made to be compatible with gen 3 parts. The gen 5 19 barrel is compatible with gen 3 slides, so you should not have any issues if you use a gen 3 slide with your barrel.

The spring cups should fit pretty snug in the channel liner. You can put the spring on the firing pin with the spring cups and see if goes in tight to check if there is a channel liner. If it wobbles a lot then you know there is no liner installed.

I got the g19 stainless barrel for $42 after the %15 off coupon. It looks and fits great in my Brownells slide. I have not shot it yet so I can't speak for the accuracy, but you can't beat the price.
Normally if you flip the gas block upside down on the barrel, you can use the screw hole as a guide to make sure the hole is lined up. I think most companies drill the screws in line with the gas hole so you can use it as a guide. The clamp-on style also should have a guide hole you can use.
