      Polytech M14

      I think so.

      Polytech M14

There are other features that would over ride that one item, I think. Besides, the action says it is a polytech. I think that is as far as an FFL looks.

It may not be binding, but try to get an FFL to order or accept a shipment of one that is banned on the list or not on the list and they will laugh at you!

      Polytech M14

The MD list is crazy. It was put together by politicians who don't really understand guns. The M1A is banned as is the M14 (of course). If you look up the Polytech M14 is is listed as not banned. The Norinco is not on the list. That means if you want a Norinco, you must submit all sorts of BS...

I am retired Air Force. I see you are well decorated. Thank you for your service. I have a lot of medals from my Air Force service. I have metals in my legs, metals in my back, and metals in my shoulder.

      Polytech M14

The previous owner had the bolt assembly replaced with a USGI assembly. WarBird did all the customizing on this weapon. That had a lot to do with me buying this one.

      Polytech M14

I found it on Armslist. It was in PA. I found a PA FFL who did the paperwork for me. I have seen them going for anywhere from $800 to $2000. All firearms are selling for higher than normal prices these days.

I should have read this before I wrote about how I "solved" the problem. Thanks

      Polytech M14

My problem sort of self corrected. I removed the stock and fitted the mags in the receiver with no stock. They fit nicely. When I reassembled it, the mags fit, but a bit tight. I don't know what happened. As for why I used Pro Mags. I couldn't find any Check Mate mags. Every seller said they...

      Polytech M14

I just got a Polytech M14. Very nice. It has a lot of upgrades, including the bolt and bolt guts replaced with forged bolt and bolt guts to USGI Specs. It came with a 5 round mag. I just bought two Pro Mag 10 round mags. I can hardly get these mags into the receiver, and they are even...

      Mounting a scope

Thank you. Great answer. Where can I get the Luepold oversize gunsmith base? Exactly what I need. (of course I will Goggle it)

      Mounting a scope

I really would like someone to just answer the original question. "If I bore sight the rifle and raise or lower one end of the scope base to get the crosshairs on the target, should that get me on paper when I get to the range? (50 and 100 yards targets) Is it that simple?"
