A response from Mary Anne Love

For those of you who are mentioning economic issues, don't forget the figures I put together last year for this very purpose. Here's a link: PDF Explaining MD Shall Issue revenue potential This is a pretty simplified model and I could easily get more complicated for a very exacting projection...

      MSI - Update 10-26-08

Does anyone have any cost information on the ballistics imaging processes? It would be nice to examine the costs of that failed system and what it could translate to in terms of other more successful crime prevention programs or additional officers.... I'd also like to draw a correlation to the...

      Carry permit bill idea

Just saw this article: http://www.pjstar.com/news_county/x2004894192/3-area-counties-to-weigh-in-on-concealed-guns Anyone know if we can get something like that on Ballots in MD? not sure what the outcome would be in this insanely liberal state but who knows.

      Carry permit bill idea

What if we piggy backed on a more important bill that was sure to get a vote.. like for instance a state dessert, do we have one of those yet?

      Instant background checks

You made me curious... here's the data for the last several years, 2001 is when MI became "shall issue" (data from: http://www.disastercenter.com/crime/micrime.htm)

      Instant background checks

I did a whole bunch of independent research on this last year. Here's the link to some of it. I also did financial workups of the additional revenue MD would bring in based on our population and other info. It's in the petition that's been up since last year. As I get time I'll update the stats...

      # of registered lowers ??

The point of my question was that I want to "stock up" on lowers prior to Obama managing to ban them. So my question is whether or not that is a problem.

      I-270 Check-In

Someone needs to open a gun store with a decent selection in Frederick!

      I-270 Check-In

Clarksburg here, we go to Frederick for everything, I can't stand germtown/gaithersburg crowds.

Wait a minute, I've been planning on buying a few AR lowers if Obama gets elected, does this mean that could cause me trouble?
