      Looking for a good butcher

I know its kind of late but Mike Ridgell in Dameron Maryland is an excellent butcher. He owns the Bay-Mart store in Ridge. They could no doubt provide the numebr to reach Mike. He has been cutting up my deer and beef for years. Always vacuum packed and does a clean job. Very reasonable.

      Ideal Rifle For Current Situation

I been keeping a SAR 3 (AK variant in 5.56) by my chair in the living room since mid march with 2/30's taped back to back. Glock 30 and Springfield XDE within a couple steps form my chair. I don't like surprises.

      Talk me out of a 6.5 M1A

Yes but then you have to feed the pig that high end ammo! 308 is cheap (sort of) and 6.5 makes my ass hurt!

Pistol grip only shotguns legal in MD?

Pistol Grip Shotgun I recommend that you "borrow" a friends for a box or 2 of 00 Buck before adapting yours into a beast. They are pretty abusive to the shooter. I put a mag tube extension on mine and it has a 20in barrel. I can spew 8 rounds of 00 buck and when done you know damn well you were...

      Considering movign to WV

Damn I pay 5800 for 3.2 acres in MD. It's waterfront but I would give it up for a creek running down the mountain and a patch of property to shoot, fish and hunt (not sitting in a damn tree either). There has to be more work in WV than MT where I grew up...I live 100 miles from work...

Finally I have My UTAH CCL

I got Florida because I was staying down there for a few months house sitting. I used to live there and could in the next 5-10 yrs move back ....I checked out Utah after I started the process in Fl and they seem to cover most of the same states. I wanted Washington, Idaho and Montana as well. I...

I hate when I ask a question and it gets hung in lala land...I did a google search and came up with this link that has coupons good through May 2012. Never used them, dont know if they work. I used to get lots of email from buds but did a gmail search and got nothing but receipts and order...

Finally I have My UTAH CCL

Does your Utah CCW Permit state that it is a non resident permit on it? I am curious because my Florida permit states nothing about resident or non resident. And can anyone tell me if there is a reason to obtain a Utah permit instead of or to accompany a Florida permit? Is there another states...

Finally I have My UTAH CCL

I have a florida CCW and I do believe you are free to carry in that state with a florida permit. Here is a link with Florida CCW Reciprocity info: http://licgweb.doacs.state.fl.us/news/concealed_carry.html

      Mini 14 vs. AR 15

I like my Mini and I can hit whatever is moving and then it stops. My Mini was cheaper My Mini does not ever fail to fire My Mini shoots a boatload of ammo and still shoots without having to clean it like a precision instrument. I bought mucho rounds with the money I saved on my Mini (about...

What's your first Firearm of 2012?

I was given (Christmas gift)a Winchester Model 1897 16 gauge pump shotgun that used to belong to my grandfather. It has a 6 digit serial and is pre-1903. A truly nice weapon that you just hold the trigger and keep racking rounds :) I would be happy to post some pics if anyone would care to see it.

Where is the best place to buy guns in Maryland?

Budsgunshop.com is one of the least expensive places I have purchased in quite some time. They had no issues sending "Assault" weapons to the FFL of my choice. Every gun shop I have visited in this crappy state think their asses are lined with gold and want to be paid for it.

      30rd mag question

I flew with a firearm in 04, TSA was aware I was bringing it in a locked case without ammo. I flew out of BWI; TSA took me in the back room and made me unlock the pistol case and drop the mag and prove it was unloaded. He did say the mag cant be with the weapon...I explained how an empty weapon...

      Thanks Maryland State Police!

It cost me $500.00 cabbages to have a trust setup. Here is the proxy attorney who set me up with a MD attorney. Why let the locals get in the way of you making a purchase ...as a law abiding citizen! Best money I have spent it years! David Goldman, Attorney Apple Law Firm PLLC 331 East...
