A coworker surprised me with this today, can't really find much info on it, the scope itself just says "Hakko 6x15 Japan". Hakko doesn't appear to exist anymore, and I'm hitting dead ends regarding with regards to info for it. does anyone here have experience with these scopes? Furthermore... -
Snagged a stumpy upper
Had to swing by a Gunshop I frequent this evening, walked out with a (what I'm told) police trade in 10.5 upper. It didn't come with a BCG or charging handle, but for $300, I won't complain. I'm looking for a couple of recommendations, namely, what BCG does everyone seem to be going with these...- Sev89

How much clearance is enough re:scope to receiver?
I -think- I’m fine in that regard. I still get good cheek weld, and only have to move my head forward by an inch or so to get clear sight picture. -

Never really had to worry about this up to this point, but, I have a Bushmaster BA50 in .50 BMG. Mounted on top of it is a Nightforce Benchrest scope in a Larue Tactical mount. The initial spot on the receiver where the scope was mounted, left a gap between the bell of the scope and the receiver... -

Any Bushermaster BA50 owners here?
Was finally able to work on it again today. Cleaned the ever loving snot out of the bolt and extractor. That still didn't solve the issue, I finally had to file/polish the surface of the extractor claw that initially contacts the rim upon chambering. A small amount of loctite and some tweaking... -

Yes, without the extractor installed, the bolt will go into battery, it'll also go into battery if I slip a cartridge rim in under the claw.
