My mini-14 is like that. The front sight is about halfway up the exposed part of the barrel and it has a bayonet lug. I think i got it at a gun show for about $550, synthetic stock its very nice.
This is a oldish mini-14 from around 2001. So i guess that would be the reason for it. The magazine also says "for law enforcement and government use only".
Is it still possible to take the class this late in the year? I read on the maryland dnr that there is a class out in Alleghany county but i live in carroll county! any info?
hell, i dont touch that trigger assembly. i admit, theres no way i could get that thing back together. the pin that holds the bolt release in fell out and springs came out it sucked. i had to take it to a shop:sad20:
mossbergs just feel cheap when i hold them, it seems like every single one i picked up the forend rattles, just doesnt seem like a well rounded gun
im a 870 guy
I seriously think its the brass gets hot and expands and jams up in the chamber, then when it cools it comes out, im not sure, that would not account for the slide release jamming. It is a new shotgun but the more i shot it, the better it got, i found federal ammuntion works well
the release button goes up and gets stuck, as if i was holding in the button. I really dont know what to do when it happens. I just kind of shake the slide and the slide release button together.
