Bought a 7.62x39 BCA upper from Classic Firearms some years back. So far, it's been fine. It eats up steel cased Wolf, damn accurate, only thing I've done is put a longer firing pin in it. About the best $199 I've ever spent.
Chili, yeah, that is a bad sight line, but some people don't know what a yield sign means.....nor a stop sign for that matter. That area is a construction zone, signs with lowered speed limits, lane shift...people don't pay attention or care anymore.
The bridge is too low for the double stack container trains that CSX wants to run thru there. Of the 67 accidents along that section, I'd bet most of them are from people driving like idiots. I can't tell you how many times I've been going to work in the morning, crossing Rt.1 from Selma Ave...
We were there Saturday night. fair amount of people there. They are short staffed. They normally have 3 cooks working a night, down to 3 cooks total now...and the kitchen is closing a 9 now.
We go up there a good bit, it gets slower some weekends in the summer months. A different crowd than before, older folk, families with kids, don't see many bikers anymore. They have karaoke now on Saturday nights.
I bought one of their uppers for $199 a few years ago, have put 500-600 rounds thru it. I had a few FTF, put the enhanced firing pin in it, haven't had a problem since. Very accurate, really been satisfied with it.
