      All my guns are hunting long guns from 7mm rem mag to 12ga, 20ga etc etc. I can drill stuff with those but shooting a pistol felt weird. Tis a shame I live in coward county.       The right target I think has about 50 rounds into it. The more I shot the tighter the groups were getting. I went though 100 rounds of federal ball and 25 rounds of remington golden saber one of which had a FTF so they are a no go in this gun.

      .300 WIN MAG choices...

      I agree on the 7mm rem mag. Flat shooting long range caliber with plenty of knock down power for pretty much anything the normal person will ever hunt. The 300 is way overkill for small game like deer and ram.

      Remington 1100 cycle issues

      Low brass bird shot will not cycle any 1100 magnum I have ever seen. I know it wont cycle either of ours and we have a 12ga and a 20ga LW and both guns are around 20ish years old. Clean or not has never made a difference with either of ours. Throw a high brass shell in them and they cycle fine...

      If you decide to hunt around triadelphia I wish you good luck. I live at the northern tip of it and have 3 acres one of which is woods with wssc property directly behind me and the deer population around here is weak. I hunt my own small piece of property.
