Kidd barrels are awesome. I have the bx trigger too. Def an upgrade but there are also better triggers out there. You pay for them though. I have $900 in my setup with the scope and am pretty competitive in most of the matches I’ve shot.
I didn’t read every reply so I may be overlapping some answers. Find a shotgun in your price range. If you can afford an O/U, probably better because it’s probably a little heavier (mitigate felt recoil).

H380 was specifically named for the 22-250. 38.0 grains of the stuff and a 52 grain bullet gave a phenomenal group. So the hogdon guy appropriately named the powder H380. If you reload, that’s a good powder to look at. Like others have said, I’ve had good luck with Varget too.
my two creedmoor (a gas gun and bolt gun) have been pretty interchangeable with H4350 and R16. A little better with 4350 in the bolt so I stuck with it. Didn’t care in the gas gun so I ran the R16 for the extra velocity. I like both.
I think you’d be hard pressed to find a sub $300 scope (with this 29% discount) with the features it has. Super snipers are nice, but they are right at $300 and don’t have the side focus or the variable magnification. The vortex diamondback tactical would be my closest choice. I have one and am...
I would’ve opted for the FFP, but I got it for a hunting rig and didn’t want to chance the crosshairs to be too small on the lower settings. Not going to be using holdovers at 60 yards either. Lol.
