ok Im adding another item to my trust. Im not sure if I need to add the item to my Assignment of Property or just to the schedule A. Also when I send the form 1 off to the ATF do I just need to send the copy of the Trust, the form 1, and the check? Or is there more?
We were discussing short barrel rifles...well class 3 stuff in general at work. A few of the guys told me that if you have a class 3 tax stamp that give the government the ability so search your weapons without a warrant. Is this true? It sounds insane to me but if its true it will absolutely...
Really need to find a new bolt assembly for a 1917 enfield. Won't pass headspace. I doubt its the barrel (at least I hope not) because it easily passed when I checked it with a barrel gauge indicating to me that the barrel isn't excessively worn. I'm new to the whole milsurp world. Is my...
basically i just told the guy to recrown the gun. it didnt cost very much anyway. it was probably half the issue. i plan on trying out heavier bullets with slower burning powders and simple ball ammo. if that doesnt fix it i ll just put a new barrel on it. i picked up the gun for so cheap...

im taking it to a gunsmith today. i really like this gun. ive got to get it working right. im absolutely going to try a different bullet. im probably going use this as an excuse to finally get in to reloading.
here's a thought....where can i just find a new barrel. the freaking barrel on this thing is CAI. the same company that turns out cheap ak imports. if i could find a better barrel maybe that would be a better course of action rather than repairing a low quality barrel.
i think the crown is jacked up. i took a bullet and jammed it in pretty hard. hard enough to make a mark in the jacket of the bullet. there is a significant gap in the spacing of the marks. i assume thats the worn spot. i also assume this is whats causing the problem. if the gasses arent...
alright i just took my winchester m1917 out to the range for the first time today and i was very disappointed. I was using ballistic tip hunting loads that i picked up from the same show i bought the gun. they were 150 grain bullets that were supposed to be going 2800 fps. i would have used...
