      Well done Mr. Pennak! @danb, Agee appointed by Bush, Richardson appointed by Trump and Keenan appointed by Obama. Seemed as if Agee and Richardson gave it to the state pretty hard and Keenan was fairly neutral mostly trying to find standing within MSI.

      Virginia has canceled the 2019 trophy rockfish season

      Doesn't seem like it's been cancelled yet, but the liklihood is pretty good (based on the linked article). Couldn't find anything stating it has been cancelled at this point.

      HQL before MD CCW?

      The HQL is only required to purchase a firearm (unless exempt). Not needed for receiving the W&C permit. As others stated, if you are doing both, do the W&C first. Then on the HQL application, you choose "permit holder" or something like that and it goes right through. No fingerprints or anything.

      When it comes to someone's personal freedom's, I tend to over analyze the legal analysis. Meh, I still don't agree that it's ok to transport it to work, but we can agree to disagree on that one. That's why I stated to contact an attorney.

      My argument there would be that they were working as a security guard while driving to and from work, just not on the clock.

      Because they have a carry permit that allows them to transfer to and from work with their firearm.
