      To muzzle brake my 308 or not, that is the question.

      First you need a heaver rifle !! Mine is 16 lbs and I have a brake .I can shoot it all day long with out or with the brake. I actually just re barreled and at that time I put a brake on it.

      lube question

      3 n 1 oil from the hardware store it comes in a nice little bottle to keep in your range bag. When I do clean a 1911 and that is not to often i assemble it back with ATF ( amsoil) . I dont clean my 1911 s but every 800 or so rounds but I lube them every-time I shoot them.

      on my 10/22 I put on a Athlon Argos 6x24x50mm 30 mm tube I have not shot a ton but it does seem to be nice.It has all you are looking for.
