      Thanks for the input; I think the second barrel option is the best bet. The replacement mag tube isn't too expensive either. It's a compromise to keep both functions hd and field use. Thanks for the inputs!

      300 blackout barrel twist

      8 will work for everything up to 220. AAC factory barrels are 1:7 so you can shoot 240gr subs. Either way you should be fine, the most common subsonic load is that 220 SMK which will work just fine in an 8" barrel.
