      Ive seen the pardner protector at walmart and bass pro every now n then, youre right not the pardner pump very often... The protector is awesome too though if you can find that!

      ha Im intrigued... could be useful in some survival situations. But is it safe? Im no expert... but the barrel on my muzzle loader is wayy thicker than that of all my 12ga's. I have my doubts a shotgun barrel is designed for the type of loads used in a muzzle loader. Thoughts?
