Why do i see so many learned people posting about lower courts getting a "spanking", yet i seem to never find evidence of said spankings ever occurring?
Yeah, the used primer does have some junk in it. However... being a competition 9mm pistol shooter, 20,000 rounds a year was normal. I just tumbled, ran them thru the progressive. Maybe ran a q-tip around inside die once a year. The die set is 10+ years old ...
I think guys doing...
Little update.
Settled on 13.5 gr of 4198 powder cci mag rifle primers for the 245gr PC coated bullets i cast.

I also have run about 75 of these. Most were run up on the hot side. 20.5gr of Lil-gun averaged 2000fps. But i don't like that powder. Ymmv. And lil-gun can vary enough to stick cases and blow primers, so use at your peril.

I always wondered why 81% was a firearm and 80% wasn't.
Now there is a 21 min time to complete required? Based on what tool set? A 8 axis cnc pre-programmed by a 40 year experienced machinist? Or a diy newbee 21 yearold with a dremel and a 6pack?
No 454 experience, but i just powder coated 250 bullets at 0.358 for my 350 legend. Ive shot 4-500 at 1600fps and 2-300 subsonic from a bolt gun. I'm now figuring out subs in the AR platform.
The PC process is simple. I spent $10 on equipment + Eastwood powder. Goodwill toaster oven was $4...
