      :lol: Yeah this has happened to me several times. I voted yes, I do not cast, nor do I know anything about casting. But I'm very intrigued by it and I'd love to learn how to do it. Specifically I'd like to learn about alloys, air vs. water cooling, and electroplating.

      I desperately need to get around to doing this to my Type 53. Do you remember what brand of bore cleaner you used? I've also seen people do a bore-only electrolysis procedure. Looks pretty interesting. Nothing I'd be comfortable trying though, at least not yet.

      Usually within 24 hours of a range trip. When I go to the range I tend to bring friends and we put a lot of rounds through my guns. So I don't feel like I clean 'em too much.
