I am trying to figure this out. In Md you can not have a loaded rifle or shotgun in a car. But you can carry a loaded rifle or shotgun as long as you do not intend to do harm to someone?

I use a buckmark for cheap shooting (GREAT GUN). But for a child i would recommend a p22 because the grip is very small. My 5 year old can hold the p22 but not the buckmark.
